On September 29 together with our friends at the Robert Wilson Stiftung we will host the second annual German Watermill Center benefit, Voluptuous Panic. The Berlin Benefit will be the German celebration of Bob’s 70th birthday. Performance, auction and birthday dinner. Hosted by Montblanc.

The Scandinavian artist duo Elmgreen & Dragset are opening their doors to their studio in a spectacular early 20th century water factory in Neukoelin, Berlin. The evening will feature special performances and installations by artists from The Watermill Center, cocktails, dinner, a special live auction and dancing. We are also proud that September 29 will be the official publication date for the book The Watermill Center – A Laboratory for Performance: Robert Wilson’s Legacy. The book focuses on the first 20 years of The Watermill Center and is 360 pages with over 400 images.

Honorary Chairs: Shaikha Paula al-Sabah, Lutz Bethge, Lisa de Kooning, Michael Elmgreen and Ignar Dragset, Harald Falckenberg, Herbert Grönemeyer, Gabriele Henkel, Her Royal Highness The Princess of Hanover, Sunnyi Melles, Daniel Richter, Julia Stoschek, and Angelika Taschen.
