Hsiao Chen & Ama Saru

New York-based artists Hsiao Chen and Ama Saru present an installation and performance. In their collaboration, Saru, from Bucharest, Romania, and Chen, from Taipei, Taiwan, focus on the ways people process, remember, and forget past events through their bodies. Working with fellow artists of varied physical abilities, this collective will create a shared character that interacts with the installation. Chen and Saru will ask both performers and audience members to revisit a specific feeling or moment in an attempt to recreate new memories. Performing with Saru and Chen will be Christopher Imbrosciano, Adam Linn, Michelle Mantione, and Anthony Moran.
