Discover Watermill is a unique opportunity to meet artists from over 25 countries all participating in The Watermill Center’s International Summer Program. Tours of The Center, Robert Wilson’s Watermill Collection, and the six acres of beautifully landscaped grounds featuring outdoor sculptures and artifacts will take place throughout the day. Enter the grounds through the formal entrance on Watermill Towd Road through the Paradise Garden originally set up for Paradiso, The 17th Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit on July 24th.
Many of the installations and performances revealed at Paradiso will be available to view. In addition there will be:
new works and performances by artists from
Greece, Kuwait, US, Germany, France, Netherlands and Brazil
children’s art workshop led by Russian artist Andrey Bartenev
installation of photographs by Indonesian photographer Lovis Dengler
exhibition from the Norwegian Theatre Academy (Østfold University College)
choral performance by Helga Davis & Marcelle Lashey Davis and the 2010 Watermill artists
cooking demonstration by Watermill Chefs Jennifer Kaur & Zowita Sheikh Mustaph
