Brooklyn Academy of Music premiere of Einstein on the Beach with a Benefit Premiere to support The Watermill Center.
Friday, September 14 at 6pm
6:00 pm: Pre-show reception with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at Berlyn Restaurant, located directly across the street from the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House
7:00 pm: The curtain rises on the production Robert Wilson originally created in 1976 with Philip Glass
Saturday, September 15 brunch at 1pm
1:00 pm: Leila and Mickey Straus welcome you into their home on Central Park West for an afternoon brunch with Robert Wilson and other members of the original creative team behind Einstein on the Beach
3:30 pm: Guests are transported to a VIP reception and artist talk with Robert Wilson and Philip Glass at the Paula Cooper Gallery for the opening of an exhibition of drawings, sketches, texts and notations used for the creation of the opera
4:00 pm: Guests enjoy a discussion of the exhibition with Paula Cooper and Robert Wilson
