The Watermill Center International Summer Program starts July 16th and runs through August 18th. Invited artists live and work together; create their own work; attend weekly lectures by international scholars; receive in-depth, ongoing mentorship from renowned artists and take part in developmental workshops. Over the past 20 years, more than 2500 artists have experienced this unique opportunity to learn from established professionals, forge lasting relationships with artists from a broad range of experience levels and disciplines, focus on new work, and embody what it means to be a global artist.
With the Mentor-Protégé Program, the Byrd Hoffman Watermill Foundation provides financial support to offset the USD 7,500 costs per student. These funds cover housing, meals, and transportation for the duration of the program.
