Robert Wilson and all of us at The Watermill Center would like to express our gratitude for your continued participation in our year-round programming efforts. We warmly extend our thanks for your support of our outstanding artists in residence, from attentively watching open rehearsals to actively participating in workshops.

Here are just a few highlights of what we accomplished in 2014:

  • 1000 community members visited the grounds on Discover Watermill Day experiencing and participating in 30 art installations, performances, workshops and family activities created by our International Summer Program participants
  • 350 new members from 36 countries joined our Friends and Collaborators membership initiative in its inaugural year; The Collaborators of The Watermill Center raised over $15,000 in support of our year-round programming
  • 16 residencies with over 50 emerging artists who created multidisciplinary art and shared their process with The Watermill Center community, including El Colegio del Cuerpo, a Colombian dance company who reached nearly 300 community members through workshops and performances, including programs with Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center, Bridgehampton Head Start, East End Explorers, and Southampton Intermediate School
  • 13 summer workshops with over 80 international artists mentored by Robert Wilson and his collaborators, including acclaimed experimental theater director and choreographer Dimitris Papaioannou, as well as postmodern dancer and choreographer Lucinda Childs
