The Watermill Center hosts The Robert Wilson Loft Sale through December 31 at Wilson’s studio in Chelsea. In time for the holiday season, Robert Wilson is selling a selection of works from his extensive collection. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the The Watermill Center Collection. Two-dozen lots from the collection are also featured on Paddle8.

200-300 works in the sale reflect Wilson’s diverse collection, including: Neolithic and Pre-Columbian vessels and objects; African, Chinese, and Indonesian masks; Indonesian and African figures; international ceramics and vessels; rugs and textiles; an assortment of chairs, and 20th century design objects by Marcel Breuer, Marianne Brandt, Hans Bellmann, Andries Dirk Copier, Robert Jarvie, Legras, Denis Santachiara, Philippe Starck, among others. Also included will be a selection of works on paper and chairs by Mr. Wilson. Prices range from $10 – $10,000

The works will be installed in Wilson’s studio/loft in a signature salon-style hanging, mixing objects from all media and cultures. The Studio is located at 115 West 29 Street, 10 Floor between 6 and 7 Avenues.

The Watermill Center is partnering with Paddle8 to highlight two-dozen lots from the sale, also on view at the studio/loft. These special lots are available for bidding online at Paddle8.com for a “12 Days of Christmas” countdown. To become a Paddle8 member and take part in the auction, register click HERE.
