Watermill artist-in-residence Lisa Erb presents Kanon: Livestream Thinking Loudly, a virtual performance that engages online collaborators and visitors of the Watermill Center. Each day of Erb’s seven-day stay at Watermill, the Munich-based artist will study themes and the metaphysics of the nature that surrounds the Watermill Center as a way of understanding virtual collaboration and creation. During this residency, Erb will conduct a livestream communication between Watermill, “Laboratorium Erb,” and outside collaborators.
Lisa Erb lives and works in Munich, Germany. With a background in physics, math, and fine art, she combines these disciplines into installations as well as online and printed publications. Erb has held solo and group exhibitions in Amsterdam, Munich, Vienna, and Dusseldorf, and has been part of the Berlin Biennale 2006. This is her premiere in the US.
