Explore your inner landscape through mindful movement, breath awareness, and yoga with Karen Meyer as she leads a full-body meditation to visit the 5 elements (chakras).
Healing Arts @ The Watermill Center is a series of workshops and guided meditations offering the public the chance to explore the intersection of art and wellness. Through hands-on activities with a rotating roster of artists, the local community is invited to explore the healing power of art in a communal and experimental setting.
Karen M. Meyer (M.A.) is well-renowned as a teacher, adventurer, and healer. As the owner of Moonheart Healing Arts, in the heart of New York City, she has created a refuge for those seeking peace and clarity on their life’s journey amidst these difficult times.
Meyer specializes in assessing the strengths of her students and custom-designing a learning plan that empowers each student to thrive both inside and outside of her classroom. In this capacity, she has worked with special education students in elementary school and in high school, as well as acting as an advocate for these students with other faculty members, parents and the community at large. Additionally, Meyer has taught countless students body/mind techniques, such as yoga, meditation, stress reduction, diet and nutrition, addiction cessation techniques, and healthy lifestyle choices.
