Tacy Borg Long Dream

Video studies of underwater bodies, part of the multi-media work in progress titled Long Dream, will be on view from 6pm-8pm. A reception with the artist will coincide with the opening.

About Long Dream
Long Dream looks at the topic of immigration, one of the key debates in politics today. This debate has opened conversations about immigrant rights, their depiction in history and the attainability of the American Dream.

In its final presentation Long Dream will include looped video-installations projected onto the doors of laundry machines at local laundromats in Long Island. The oneiric video images will create an analogy between the spinning wet clothes inside the machines and the dreams of the Latino immigrants that are portrayed.
