The Watermill Center invites guests to walk through history, exploring our carefully curated art collection, expansive library, manicured gardens, and historic building. Tours of The Watermill Center offer a unique chance to see how our 10+ acre campus acts as a source of inspiration for our year-round Artists-in-Residence as they push the boundaries of creative practice.
The Center’s sensory-friendly tours increase access to The Center through accommodations made for neurodiverse visitors. Natural lighting is used when possible, ambient sound is kept to a minimum, and materials will be made available prior to guest arrival to give attendees time to review and plan their visit. The Watermill Center’s sensory-friendly tours are open to all. If you have any special accommodation requests please contact us at education@watermillcenter.org.

PLEASE NOTE: The event takes place both indoors and outdoors, as such we strongly encourage proper footwear and attire. All tours begin promptly on time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for the check-in process. Advance registration is required. Space is limited.
Information packets for sensory-friendly tours will be sent 24 hours prior to the event and are available earlier upon request.

All attendees, including children, must be fully vaccinated, and present proof of vaccination during check-in. Those unable to show proof of vaccination will be turned away. For the foreseeable future, unvaccinated individuals are unable to attend. Masks are required indoors.
Please note that tours of the building require the use of stairs. The Watermill Center is committed to providing accessible programs and services for all patrons and artists with disabilities.
