Dorothy Reilly began climate activism with architecture school, Tulane University Masters in Architecture with a thesis on passive solar design in 1976. She founded Earth Matters Inc in 1986, Women’s Initiatives for a Sustainable Earth (WISE) in 2008 and Drawdown East End in 2019. She spearheaded the 1st NY Conference for Sustainability in 2009. As catalyst for the Sustainable Southampton Green Committee in 2008, Reilly continues to integrate climate policy concerns into our government at the same time that she promotes lifestyle changes for reversing global warming. Today using the priorities of the 100 practices of Project Drawdown, Reilly loves understanding and sharing the science of drawdown. Understanding the extraordinary power of women meeting regularly over concerns that matter, with the launch of Drawdown 100Women4Women she is focused on co-creating a regenerative culture.
Tina Mills is a scientist, community organizer, compassionate leader, permaculture practitioner and creative activist. She is a co-creator of Drawdown 100Women4Women and a permanent year round resident of East Hampton.
